Boats in the Bay, Cape Palliser Frame:Slimline Black New Zealand's red-flowering Christmas treeCape Palliser is the southernmost tip of the North Island, on the rugged Wairarapa coast. At nearby Ngawi, a fleet of small fishing boats is hauled straight up onto the black sand beach by bulldozer. There is no harbour on this exposed shore. Stephen Milner photographed two of the boats at rest in black and white, the wild coastline stretching away behind them.
