First generation chair produced by Evans Plywood Products in 1945 or 1946 (Herman Miller took over the production in 1950). This chair retains its original metal strip label. It is the earliest version of label aside the ones placed on pre production chairs and dates it to 1945 or 1946. Surviving chairs from these years are extremely rare. Great collectors item.
