A catch-up mechanic that doesnt completely kill the card when youre ahead is unheard of, and is something we need to see more of from Wizards of the Coasts design team
The only ruling on Indestructible Aura, an instant that blocks damage, is to rib on the card's Non-Indicative Name:Despite the name, this card only prevents damage and not destroy effects
Since it picks up a counter from coming into play initially, you can use it immediately
If an Equip Spell Card is destroyed or is removed from the field in another way, then its effects disappear
