Vivi Ornitier's effect is so good, and can be copied onto other creatures (something Izzet Cauldron decks do in Standard), so they too can provide mana to make for explosive turns where you can play your entire hand and draw a bunch of cards

Having this 10-mana enchantment in play means that you dont have to worry about mana anymore

It even has a great activated ability that buffs all your soldiers with +1/+1 until end of turn for just mana and tapping the Beachhead

The Verdict Very cool deck, and easily my favorite of the bunch

Functionally, this card doesnt seem to make much sense except as a deathtouch-themed Golgari commander
