While it can be hard to play so many expensive creatures in a deck, Magmatic Hellkite does a really good job of slowing the other players down

Making serialized cards the norm and not the exception will gradually detract from the excitement they bring to the game
#21: Mindbug It would be tempting to rag on Magic: The Gathering creator Richard Garfield for being a one-trick pony, or opening Pandoras Box with the worlds first TCG, or just making what I hope is a crap-ton of money off the backs of cardboard fiends nose-deep in Secret Lairs if it werent for the very endearing fact that this man will not, can not stop making banger card games
This reinforces the idea that Eldraine doesn't necessarily play with exceptionally strong mechanics but rather that the cards from Throne of Eldraine in particular were much stronger than the kind of thing Magic is used to
