The interesting part here is that Akoum Warrior is a nice alternative mode as a land, making this card extremely useful in Limited

Its a tough addition to a trainers deck and rewards players who enjoy spread damage and multi-turn strategies that slowly wear down the board

Even more unexpected was how big the gap in quality was between the two decks

The card contributes pretty much nothing to combat aside from being the occasional chump blocker, but the damage it stacks up from creature combat and removal spells makes up for that

Its like a friggin golden ticket to the Pokemon inner circle
