MEDITERRANEAN TURQUOISE GLAZED VESSEL A 19th century terracotta bojitoDating back to the late 19th or early 20th century, this Mediterranean terracotta vessel would have been used to store olive oil. This particular vessel had been painted with a turquoise glaze on its neck and rim and lined in its interior, with a layer of resin to prevent the oil from seeping into the terracotta.
