Players dont even need to pick an opponents card to damage, as some cards in Lorcana grant benefits that more than make up for the loss of the character - especially emerald ink cards, such as Lyle Tiberius Rourke, Cunning Mercenary - which forces an opponent to lose a lore every time one of your characters is banished - or even Milo Thatch, King of Atlantis: forcing all your opponents to return all their character cards to their hands
While Doctor Who mega-fans will get the most value out of this release, its clever mechanics and solid deck construction make for a whole lot more than just fan service
Both give a solo attacking creature Double Strike (an amazing stat and not easily acquired), but Squall does one better in many departments
Not only is it a pretty intimidating creature, sporting flash, flying, and a 4/2 base stat, but it also gives all of its controllers' spells flash
Put a stun counter on it
