In 2011, two additional rules were added: You must choose an existing Magic creature type
Just because it is getting later in the game or your opponent has a bunch of mana doesn't necessarily mean the card is dead

Weaknesses with an encounter cardtype (such as enemies or treacheries) are considered to be encounter cards while they are being resolved and once they have entered play, but are not considered to be encounter cards yet at the time that these cards are played
Instead of giving the creature indestructible, the creature dies and comes back
This works specifically, whenever you cast instants or spells on a creature you control, allowing you to exile the card after resolving it, instead of putting it in your graveyard to then be put back into your hand on the next end step
