This set continues the traditions of previous SV sets like Paldea Evolved and Obsidian Flames by adding new Tera cards while also introducing new mechanics in the form of Ancient and Future Paradox Pokmon: these paradoxical Pokmon come from alternative futures and pasts, shaking up the competitive scene and introducing TCG collectors to a score of new Pokmon such as the fan-favourites Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant
Im not entirely sure on the best way to play Rayquaza VMAX yet, but I have a hunch that you might wanna play it with a bunch of quick play cards that you can easily play before pitching your hand away
So even though it does seem expensive for Giratina to only be able to do 30 hp to each Pokemon of your opponent's for 4 energy, just think if your opponent has 3 Pokemon in play, 1 active and 2 benched, 1 turn of Darkness Lost can do 90 hp with 4 energy cards, which isn't bad at all
However, the main reason is just that the characters simply arent as endearing as The Tenth Doctor, Karlach, Aragorn or The Swarmlord
Then, on each turn, players draw a new card, add Pokmon to their lineup, and give energy to their Pokmon
